Event Description

Bench Tricks with Alan Revere

April 23-24, 2009 from 9 am - 5 pm $350

Register Now - April 23-24, 2010 class

Jewelers use more tools in more varied techniques than any other type of artisan. Spend the weekend watching Alan Revere as he demonstrates dozens of short cuts, tricks, tips, gizmos, and gadgets to make jewelry work easier. Learn practical methods for saving time and money including techniques for layout, holding, forming, cutting, soldering, cleaning, finishing, filing, setting, fabrication, repairs, and more. An open discussion between teacher and students (many of whom are also experienced jewelers) always provides new and unusual insights into ways to work better. This is a lecture/demonstration workshop, not hands-on.
