Pablo Picasso said, "All children are artists. The problem is how to remain an artist..." I would like to start discussion on how we stay creative throughout life. I am presently proposing an exhibition of noted clay artists from around the world who are all over the age of 70. It will be shown in 2014 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, during the NCECA conference. It is amazing what these elderly artists are creating and it seems as though it will never end as long as they have the physical capability to continue. What keeps them creating? I have my own answers, but what do you think?
