Would love to, but won't be passing Pittsburgh until July, when I will claim a signing from you anyway!

Thanks guys!! I will be grinning from one ear to the other :-)

Barnes and Noble are really great with the event. If any of you has a book out or coming out, I highly recommend to get in touch with your local book store(s) for signings. It was actually easy to set up and they are very good with their authors...

Midsummer

As usual, I've relocated to the South Coast for the summer and have been doing very little to do with work. Since my last post, I've had my friend and fellow-jeweller, Madelyn Smoak with us here and that has lead to adventures. We started off in London at Tate Britain to see the…See More

Retracing my steps: Explorations in Fiber Sculpture at Arrowmont

Arrowmont: after 25 years, I am returning to the place where it all started for me as a fiber artist.  That embarrassing picture is me, Amber O’Harrow (then Amber Wood), with my first weaving, turned into a bag.  Let’s see where my journey has led me since then, as I follow my guide, Pat Hickman on an exploration of fiber sculpture at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts. See More

Prima Donna Assoluta

I've been so busy with work I've missed writing the blog for a couple of weeks. I've got some ideas to share, I just need time to assemble the thoughts. In the meanwhile, let me share my latest flute images. These portraits are of famous opera divas past and present (taken from images while in costumed role). Each disc (flute cup) is a little over 1/2 inch in diameter and they are all chased and raised out of the flat surface of the cup - nothing is soldered on.I hope you like them.…See More
