Come learn the basics in hot beeswax application! No, this is not a salon treatment! It’s a fabulous introduction to the ancient art of painting with pigmented wax – with lots of new possibilities! For beginners or those interested in getting a new perspective on painting in encaustic. Demonstrations in smooth and textural application, color play, transparent and opaque dilutions. You will gain skills in heat gun usage and wax painting that will take you to the next level in working with wax!

Course # W09W1171 $75. $10.00 supply fee includes all wax and tools. Plan to bring 3 or more boards to paint on - either Clayboards or plywood @ 8 x 10” or smaller.
