Chasing and Repoussé: Beyond the Basics

If you’ve played with a pitch pot a bit, it’s probably time to take your work to the next level. Expect two days of very personal instruction in a small class setting. Using your own tools; your own pitch; your own design/style – Megan will show you how to really make it come together for you!!

NANCY MEGAN CORWIN is an internationally respected, metalsmith, writer, and teacher. She received an MFA in Art Metals from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is an adjunct instructor at Cabrillo and Monterey Peninsula Colleges in California. She has taught at Penland, Pratt Fine Arts Center, Haystack Mountain School of Craft, etc. Her book on the techniques of chasing and repoussé, published by Brynmorgan Press is “the Bible” of the art form! Megan’s work is included in private collections and in the permanent collections of the Tacoma Art Museum, Washington; the Victoria and Albert Museum, London etc. She is represented in Seattle at Facere Jewelry Art Gallery.
