Learn to felt sheets of fine Australian merino needle punch batts. Dye Master Chad will show how to set up a safe and workable dye kitchen that can be done in your own house. Using hundreds of fascinating tools, students will be guided into the world of resist dyeing on felt. The students will create a leather-lined wrapped journal and a small 4-needle Coptic bound book, while learning about text books, patterns, gluing and closures. On day three students will learn stitching and beading techniques to transform the resist dyed felt into small, exquisite book covers.
