Interdisciplinary. Community. Advocacy. Humor.
A two-day workshop to promote creativity and awareness of environmental issues related to craft practices. Each participant will learn some basic jewelry craft skills and will complete at least one piece of jewelry, which can be taken away at the end of the course. The participants will be encouraged to think about environmental issues, especially recycling, in a discursive and non-prescriptive way, leading to the development of creative responses to the issues arising.
