contemporary art, design and fine craft connection

Hello All

I need some advice please.
Do I invest in a Stomp/Jump Shear (pexto) 36 inch or

Do I invest in a smaller Di-Acro Bench top shear???

I will be using it for Jewelry type fabrication purposes

Im not concerned about Budget Im mostly concerned about Overkill.

Thanks
Hucky

Hi Hucky,
I love my Pexto 36" shear. It cuts small and large shapes with ease. It can cut 14 ga. silver with no problem. I didn't know how much I needed it until I used it the first time. Now I don't think I can live without it! Most things I make are small but I also made a woven 10' copper wall for Extreme Makeover Home Edition. It cut the strips quickly and easily. Happy Shearing!
Best Regards,
Carol

A 36" Pexto weighs 1000lbs, and has a BIG footprint!
