Harriete Estel Berman uses recycled tin cans to construct her artwork, ranging from jewelry and teacups to entire lawns of social commentary. Sculptures from the last 20 years include domestic appliances as a commentary on the roles of women in our society and the influence of advertising in our consumer society. Her work has been shown throughout the US, Europe and Africa. She is the author of the SNAG Professional Guidelines and a coordinator of SNAG's Professional Development Seminar.

Emiko Oye
Blog: http://blog.rewarestyle.com/

Inspired by haute couture and salvaged materials, Emiko creates one-of-a-kind, urban jewelry and sculptures from recycled materials in combination with precious metals and gemstones. Her jewelry strives to subtly transform the identity of everyday mundane objects to create new dialogues about our relationship with the environment and our culture. In her sculptural work alternative materials are utilized to spark discourse on current socio-political issues.
