The Association for Contemporary Jewellery

is devoted to the promotion, representation, understanding and development of contemporary jewellery in the United Kingdom and abroad.

Founded as a membership association in 1997 and registered as a Limited Company in 2006, it recognises a need to foster discussion, debate and critical review and interaction amongst its members. To this end we organise conferences, lectures, seminars, workshops and an annual general meeting for our members. Our regular newsletter, findings, features reviews, information, comment, book offers and discounts and is of benefit to both our members and the wider public. We also produce a monthly e-bulletin featuring news and opportunities.

We welcome as members practising jewellers, associated designers and crafts people, educators, students, gallery owners and retailers, museum curators, critics and collectors - indeed, anyone with an interest in contemporary jewellery.

We're excited to announce that applications are now open for all our 2017 autumn events. We're hosting a fantastic series of shows this year, kicking off with Sculpt at Kew in September and culminating with our annual flagship fair at Chelsea Old Town Hall in November.

With one simple form, you can now apply to all three of our craft fairs. All you need to do is submit your details along with four images of your work here. Read on for key dates and deadlines, and best of luck to all our Handmade alumni taking part in Top Drawer and Maison & Objet!

Remember the time difference when submitting too!

It's hard to believe that 2017 is here. And with its arrival comes the last chance for established jewelry artists to submit proposals for the inaugural Susan Beech Mid-Career Artist Grant.

The $20,000 grant is available to an artist between the ages of 35 and 55 who has created a substantial body of work. This largest-of-its-kind grant is intended to help an artist create and implement a significant jewelry-related project.

The deadline to submit a proposal is midnight MST on January 16. Don't delay, because once the deadline passes, this grant opportunity won't be available for another two years.

Submit your proposal today for the opportunity to create some fierce work tomorrow. Find out everything you need to know at the link below.
