Our regular newsletter, findings, features reviews, information, comment, book offers and discounts and is of benefit to both our members and the wider public. We also produce a monthly e-bulletin featuring news and opportunities.

This 10-week course enables students to develop an interest in designing and making jewellery and in metal smithing.

The course is for beginners and for those with some experience.

Tuesday 31 January, more than 34,000 coins produced by the Royal Mint in 2016 will scrutinized by a jury at Goldsmiths’ Hall in the City of London.
Last year we saw some remarkable items, including a 1kg gold coin commemorating the Queen as the longest reigning monarch. More exceptional pieces are set to be examined today including the new 12-sided £1 coin, which will enter circulation in March.  https://www.thegoldsmiths.co.uk/company/today/trial-pyx/

We are thrilled to announce that Hole & Corner are curating London Design Fair's British Craft Pavilion at the London Design Festival this September.

We are currently seeking makers - who craft beautiful objects in the highest quality materials - to exhibit in the British Craft Pavilion. We are now taking applications and the deadline for submissions is 13th February 2017.

Launched in 2016, The British Craft Pavilion will double in size with space for 50 selected makers in 2017. Located in an gallery space dedicated to craft, the Pavilion will be punctuated by two large-scale commissioned installations and a craft cafe.

As part of The British Craft Pavilion at London Design Fair (located at The Old Truman Brewery) your work will be seen by over 27,000 influential retail buyers, interior designers, collectors, press and craft-collecting public.
