We asked Wild Beasts if they’d be up for making something for The Jameson Works. They were, so we all agreed that the brief ‘Storytelling’ would give them something good to work to. We’d be keen to see what you can do too. Got a new idea or already working on something that you think fits with ‘Storytelling’?
If you’re a photographer, a designer or you just like hitting stuff with a hammer, we want to hear from you.

Established or just starting out, it doesn’t matter to us.
Tell us what you need support with and how it links to the ‘Storytelling’ brief.
You can apply for any amount of money from £100 to £1000 to £4000, just tell us why you need it.

We’re keen to support projects and ideas of all shapes and sizes. Maybe you need a new lens for your camera to finish off that photography project you’ve been working on, or some new tools to get started on that chair you wanted to make, or maybe just some extra funds to help pay the studio rent. Submit your idea and if we like it, we’ll back it. There’s no long application form – just some cash and support to help you make it happen.

At John Lewis we are passionate about finding products that are well made and beautiful. We work with over 150 new and established designers, start up businesses and well established manufacturers in the UK.

Working with designer-makers is relatively new to us and we wanted to create an opportunity to introduce ourselves, see your work and discuss an exciting new opportunity for us to work with small batch production.

We are looking for wood-ware, ceramics, glassware, textiles, occasional furniture and lighting and we would need small batches produced for April - June 2015.

How to Apply:
If this sounds interesting to you, please get in touch with a visual of your work and a description of your practice / business.
Those we believe could be a good fit for John Lewis will be invited to an introductory event on 11 November. We hope to respond to all applicants by the 4 November.

Master Classes from Creative Experts
Dive deep into the mechanics of idea execution with our 75-minute master classes, where top creative minds share best practices on everything from designing great products to building an incredible creative career.

Visit Leading Creative Workspaces
Explore the inner-workings of NYC's leading creative companies, and meet fellow attendees in an intimate, interactive setting. Past studio sessions have featured Google, Spotify, Refinery29, MoMA, IDEO, and many more.

Learn, Network, and Party!
From our pre-conference kickoff to our killer closing party, 99U provides you with endless opportunities to network with fellow attendees and get exposed to new ideas.

Pick up your conference badge early, meet fellow attendees, and learn cool stuff. Our kickoff event on April 29th will be a smorgasbord of new ideas, product demos, fun games, networking opportunities, and, of course, free beer.

No conference does parties like we do. Network it up in a former neo-Gothic church at our opening cocktail reception on April 30th, then cut loose in style at our official 99U Afterparty on May 1st. (Venue to be announced, but last year's shindig was at MoMA. Nbd.)

Leave with a gorgeously designed schwag bag, packed with cool (and useful!) stuff. Plus, incredible giveaways, art exhibitions, and other surprises throughout the event. We put a ton of work into creating a beautiful experience for you.

Tired of attending conferences that taught us how to “dream” big but not how to “do” big, we at Behance set out to create something different in 2009. Thus the 99U Conference — a one-of-a-kind live experience fully devoted to exploring the mechanics of idea execution — was born.
Our Past Speakers
Since then, an incredible group of visionary creatives, entrepreneurs, and researchers have joined us to pull back the curtain on their creative process and share road-tested insights on how to make ideas happen.
