is devoted to the promotion, representation, understanding and development of contemporary jewellery in the United Kingdom and abroad.
Founded as a membership association in 1997 and registered as a Limited Company in 2006, it recognises a need to foster discussion, debate and critical review and interaction amongst its members. To this end we organise conferences, lectures, seminars, workshops and an annual general meeting for our members. Our regular newsletter, findings, features reviews, information, comment, book offers and discounts and is of benefit to both our members and the wider public. We also produce a monthly e-bulletin featuring news and opportunities.
We welcome as members practising jewellers, associated designers and crafts people, educators, students, gallery owners and retailers, museum curators, critics and collectors - indeed, anyone with an interest in contemporary jewellery.

new course: International Jewellery Management https://www.uca.ac.uk/study/courses/ma-international-jewellery-mana...
For six days from the 4th to the 9th of March, London Design Week at Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour is to be the nerve centre of creative excellence – an unmissable event.
This celebration of the new season showcases imaginative new installations and bespoke pop-ups alongside the new collections revealed at the more than 120 showrooms and over 600 brands from around the world, while international speakers share their knowledge at the Conversations in Design series.
A new initiative is Legends, which sees designers from the worlds of interiors and decoration, art, fashion and architecture collaborate to transform showroom windows and showcases. Look out for highlights at Samuel & Sons, where clever use of trimmings will create ‘cakes’ to celebrate 5 years at their London showroom, and The Silk Gallery, where Studio Kamini has designed a glamorous safari inspired installation complete with giraffes from Talisman London.
