is devoted to the promotion, representation, understanding and development of contemporary jewellery in the United Kingdom and abroad.
Founded as a membership association in 1997 and registered as a Limited Company in 2006, it recognises a need to foster discussion, debate and critical review and interaction amongst its members. To this end we organise conferences, lectures, seminars, workshops and an annual general meeting for our members. Our regular newsletter, findings, features reviews, information, comment, book offers and discounts and is of benefit to both our members and the wider public. We also produce a monthly e-bulletin featuring news and opportunities.
We welcome as members practising jewellers, associated designers and crafts people, educators, students, gallery owners and retailers, museum curators, critics and collectors - indeed, anyone with an interest in contemporary jewellery.

The Fashion Institute of Technology, in partnership with the Politecnico di Milano, will hold an international symposium called Digital Meets Handmade: Jewelry in t... on May 15-17, 2018.

Munich Jewellery Week is an independent initiative that supports and communicates yearly citywide jewellery exhibitions in Munich
5–13 March 2018
This year, Munich Jewellery Week launched a new interactive website to offer visitors and participants a smooth MJW experience. Directly linked to the Google Maps, the website will immediately indicate your location and distance to each event. Open it on your phone and click on the address line to switch to Google Maps.
Take advantage of the free roaming for EU mobile users travelling to other countries and use our interactive website as a perfect tool to guide you around Munich!
For those of you who prefer a tangible map, on which you can write, draw and make your own daily routes, Munich Jewellery Week will offer a printed map, for FREE, featuring all submitted events (print run of 5000 copies). This large and exquisitely designed map will accommodate expanded event information, images and practical information. Current Obsession will not produce its CO Paper in 2018, instead, we invite you to join us at a weeklong jewellery festival Doing The No No, at the Lovelace Hotel Happening.
The aim of the exhibition is to present the most interesting accomplishments of contemporary jewellery art. The submitted
works should be jewellery in the broad sense of the term, display creativity as well as high standards of design and execution.
The Organizers set no restrictions as to the materials and techniques employed but to honour the competition’s almost 40-year-long tradition, the inclusion of silver in the work is expected.
This year's topic is Ilussion
