Hello Cooperative Tableware Teams !
Thank you all for participating in this exciting collaborative project. It was wonderful to see the results of the various cross-media cooperations, and to witness the diverse approaches taken to solve the task of working with each other. The submissions were tremendous. It was very hard to select from your work, as every single one of the 63 submissions absolutely deserved to be in the exhibition. However, as is always the case, space at a gallery is limited, and we had to make some hard decisions.

Again, we want to thank you all for participating and working through the challenges of cooperating. Your work is absolutely amazing. We hope you enjoyed this project as much as we did seeing the results, and that you took something new and exciting away from this experience- whether that is an interest in a new material, working outside of your typical medium, or developing an existing relationship with your collaborator. Many of you told us how happy they were to finally being able to work with a friend or esteemed colleague, and that they plan to continue working jointly in the future as well. This fulfills our original motivation for the project- to bring together different makers and have them make art together.
Best wishes for all your endeavors, and we look forward to seeing you in Seattle!
Regards,
Sarah Abramson and Brigitte Martin
