PARTICIPATORY SPORT FOR CRAFT ARTISTS
I organise de-junk, re-junk every year with artists in Wirral in the North West of England and am currently hired by Wirral Council to achieve this project. The funding for me will be going next year and we will have to fly solo. This year too we (I mean I) are paying for proper promotion ie Flyers and invitations as well as opening refreshments. I am happy to do this as it is a precursor to me setting up my Community Interest Company to promote the arts, artists and recycling in Wirral.
Now less about me and more about collaboration, there are 38 artists involved who have been sharing their junk and requesting their junk for the last 2 years through the medium of a closed group on Facebook and through our regular "with these hands" meetings (With These Hands is an artist network that I set up for local artists and creative types of all varieties three years ago).
Not much to see yet in the blog but you can search around on the web for last years images.

For the next 13 months we'll discuss the trials, triumphs, and tribulations of exhibiting in art shows as emerging artists and established artists. Exhibition coverage will be balanced with tips on how to strategically build a legacy over a length of time, in a way that makes sense to your individual goals as an artist and maker.
Join us each month! There will be surprises around every corner, with photos, videos, SNAG conference coverage, and occasional interviews by rising artists!
