Thanks Becky. Oh yes, the mud has been coming my way. In a good way, of course :-)

This looks like a great project! I have been inspired! Smart move putting the ad in Ceramics Monthly! I'll bet the mud starts flying now!

Just a little update to let you all know that things are humming along quite nicely for the Humor in Craft book at this point. With about about more 8 weeks to go until the deadline, low res images and texts are coming in in large numbers and things are looking REALLY GOOD.... if I may say so myself :-)
The funny pieces out there are mind boggling, and what the artists have to say about the role that humor plays in their work is diverse and most interesting. I am SO GLAD I am doing this project.
If you haven't emailed in your submission yet, please remember to do so, as a reminder the deadline is March 1.
Email low res photos and your text to humorincraft at yahoo dot com. Any questions? Use the same email or get in touch through here.
I look forward to seeing your humorous work!

This is not an actual entry - sorry, can't let you see those just yet :-). BUT with Summer now officially over, I wanted to at least share a last "hoooorah" with you all. Source:

Just found this hat on glamcult.com. I always thought the British have a great sense of humor. Especially in the fashion world. And I mean this in the nicest way, possums, not being sarcastic for once. Just take the amazing Vivienne Westwood for instance, and then this guy, Stephen Jones. Ah, I so love a good "drama" photo.
