PARTICIPATORY SPORT FOR CRAFT ARTISTS
True, many of us feel the same, inspiration is everywhere and at anytime. As a former graphic designer, drawing sketches was the proccess for me and I still like doing that today. But there is nothing like touching the materials! This is the real thing.. this is where imagination and intuition take over the brain... this is the glory itself!
I like 2 sayings by Albert Einstein - Imagination is more important then knowledge
and - Keep it simple!
This is my motto.

Ideas are always swimming around in my mind but to bring something to reality - doodling gets the ball rolling. It also lets you flush out what is at the forefront of your mind and get to something really good.
I also like to keep a small sketch booklet in my purse for ideas that pop up... so later I can connect to some of them.
