I think the idea of everyone signing the catalogs is awesome!!!!  Maybe we can all meet at a certain time in the lobby bar and have a signing party. People should try to wear the jewelry in the catalog!  It can be a signing/fashion show!

I want to thank Jackie Truty and Katie Baum and Art Clay World for making the print exhibition possible at the Metal Clay World Conference.  Their support of the metal clay community is huge and really really gave this exhibition an extra punch.  I just made a call to Katie one day and told her about the online exhibition and they immediately came up with the print exhibition.  Support like that can't be measured.  They are good people.

Hi Christine

Can we pre-order for the MCWC, Being able to purchase at the conference would save me (I'm sure others will agree) having pay for it to be sent to England?

I look forward to your reply.

Many thanks.

Lesley

Because of the time commitment involved with the catalog, it will come out close to the conference.  This will give Susan and me plenty of time to get everything put together, proofed and polished so it is the catalog as we envision it.

For those not attending the conference, yes, there will absolutely be a way for you to purchase one (or many!) copies for yourself, your friends, friends of your friends....  :-)  I don't have the information on how to purchase it yet - we will make an announcement closer to the date.

Right now our top priority is getting the first online exhibition uploaded so it is ready to go on show day!  Very exciting!

Ladies ! Thank you so much for the information and thank you so much for all of your time and energy for such an excellent and admirable job and cause ! I'll go there now and send my participation !
Can't wait to see the show and meet up with those who are going to MCWC in July !
Linda, Prague was WONDERFUL !!! Over 100 people attended from all over Europe. The exhibit had some very beautiful work, very European in style too, which was cool to see. There will also be a show and contest book on it, we got a sneak peak. I had 3 45+ students in 3 classes over the 2 days - a very pleasant and exciting marathon ;o) I'm all adrenaline wired for MCWC !
I'll be putting images up as soon as possible - right now I'm leaving for a show this weekend and preparing my son's stuff for his one week school ski trip also leaving this weekend, so blogging might have to wait a couple of days. :o) smooches to all ! And thanks a bunch for everything ! o:-)

Just sent my payment to Sam. I will be unable to attend but I will definitely need more than one catalogs. Many thanks for all your hard work. I missed Prague because on the eve of my departure my mother fell and dislocated her hip! Thank God she is alright now! But there will be other conferences.

Again, thank Christine and Susan!

Down to the Waterline – “Stain-Less” in Sheffield

They like their fountains in Sheffield.  The first thing that greets you on leaving the railway station is a wonderful cascade of water.  I walked across the city centre to my hotel and the peace gardens had fabulous fountains and children leaping around them, it seemed every courtyard was running water for the newly warming Springtime.…See More
