Good question Catherine. I think we've got a unique opportunity to show galleries and artist of other mediums the scope of what is being done in metal clay. I don't think it matters if it has been published before as long as it is an outstanding example of work being done and work that is unique to metal clay. I am not on the jury but I hope we get a wide variety of pieces accepted. Even after the exhibition has concluded it will remain accessible in the archives so it's going to be around for a long time!

That's true, endless possibilities. Are you looking for things that haven't been published anywhere else, complicated constructions? I have a hard time choosing what to submit because many times what I think is cool gets passed over somewhere else.

Well, it's only 3 until the submission deadline, the countdown has started! Do you have any idea what you might be submitting? Necklace, brooch, vessel, ring, bracelet, ooh the possibilities are endless!
