We've got 11 members already signed up, yeah!! Please help me out and take just a moment and contact one other artist who you think should know about this show. Lets get the word out!

This sounds exciting. I hope my work gets juried in. Thanks for having this group... or not. Now I'll never get off my computer.

Yeah, that's a good idea. I've been really busy the last few weeks so I've let things simmer. Sometimes simmering is good, it lets your thoughts gel. Especially for me. I get so excited about things that I jump without thinking.

I was going to send out emails but I am in a rather sensitive position as curator in that I don't want someone to think that since I invited them they are automatically in the show. We have a jury set up to do a critical review of the work submitted and choose work to be in the show.

When you look at who has already joined our group I think we have the answer how to go about this. Please tell those artists that you feel should be in the show about this opportunity. Please send them an email telling them there is this opportunity that they don't want to miss. Their work will be in an on-line exhibition, it will always remain online, and be a method of showing their work outside of the metal community. It's also a great addition to the Curriculum Vitae ;-)

Let them know that they have to get accepted to Crafthaus first, and then join our discussion group. And please contact them soon. Lets review things in a month and see how many people have joined our group. At that time if we think we need more participants we'll brainstorm.

You could send out a mass/private email to FB folk that you want to specifically invite. I'm not sure how many people know about Crafthaus in the first place.

Thanks Lorena. With your 5 million zillion fans Brigitte would have been swamped!! ;-)

I think it's wonderful that we have this discussion page so that everyone can help form this exhibition. I just love out metal clay community. There are so many amazing people that just happen to be artists! How lucky are we?

ohhh sorry, let me take them down then.

I've thought about that but they have to be a member of Crafthaus to participate. Brigitte juries every request for membership and only 4 or 5 out of 10 requests get accepted. That's why Crafthaus has the creative personality that we all appreciate so much. Sooo that said, I do not want to bombard Brigitte with requests. She has criteria that must be met to be accepted and I don't want to have to put her in the position of turning down people who then go to the forum and whine. So, it's up to us to spread the word to artists who create the level of work that we want to represent our medium to the amazing artists on Crafthaus.

I'm really excited about the knowledgeable jury that will ultimately be putting together this exhibition. Most of our exhibitions seem to predominately be seen by just the metal clay community. This is a fabulous opportunity to show a community of incredibly fabulous artists of different mediums the extraordinary work that is being done today.

So, lets brainstorm and get the best metal clay artists in the world involved with this exhibit and lets show the art world the amazing work being made today in the medium of Metal Clay!!!!

I just post it in my fan page and personal page in Facebook.

And how about announcing it on Facebook and the Yahoo group? It's not a class, so that should be okay.

I'll also put something on the Call for Entries about this group so that all the discussions happen on one page. See, I'm learning! Old dogs can learn new tricks!
