For a long time, Luigi has been interested in and attracted to metals and their
infinite capabilities, especially their oxidation capabilities, overlapping and
sequences of layers. With his work, he aims to transfer his everyday emotions
into contemporary jewelry. His work is unique and informal with a feel of
spontaneous expression.

Luigi approaches art lovers on an emotional level, he wants them to experience
his work differently. His work moves freely between “simple” jewelry and the
concept of sculptural art work. He uses techniques like niello inlaying and
granulation, and also combines precious metal with iron, copper and brass.

Luigi expresses his feelings through his jewelry like a painter expresses
himself on his canvas.
