Every now and then, there's a really good idea out there that deserves that we, the SNAG members pay attention and jump into action - for our own benefit:

Background:

This year, there are 2 very interesting candidates for the SNAG presidency to choose from: Renee Zettle-Sterling and John Rose (1/2 of the 2Roses team).

SNAG decided to shake things up a bit and present both candidates to the membership in an entirely new way. The Nomination and Elections Committee came up with a new format that will allow SNAG members to COMPARE the candidates so that we all can make an informed decision about who we are going to vote for this year. Basically, the candidates are being asked 6 questions and their responses get placed right next to each other for easy comparison. You will read how the candidates will address your issues, concerns and questions under their leadership which in turn results in a  better basis for us to vote on.

So far so good. But it gets better: What about those questions? This is where we, the SNAG members come in: We are asked to email 2 questions max. that we would like the candidates to answer to the Nomination Committee until March 1.

From the member questions, the NEC will pick those 6 that were asked most often. Starting April 2, every week one question and the responses from the two candidates will get published on the SNAG website. Easy.

So, get ready to email your 2 questions to Mary Hallam Pearse (email : mpearse@uga.edu ) by March 1 and then find out  what the responses are in April!

Way to let the membership decide on what's important to them !
