The SNAG conference is just around the corner. Here are a few things you attendees have to look forward to!

Authors Rene Zettle-Sterling and Jen Towsend will be giving away a signed copy of their book Cast, on Saturday, May 27th at the Schiffer Publishing booth in the vendor room. For more details, or to enter go here.

For another opportunity to win some super cool stuff, make sure you get your raffle tickets! Proceeds from the raffle tickets goes directly to the SNAG Educational Endowment Scholarship. You can purchase your tickets here.

One of my favorite events at the annual conference is the gallery crawl. There are a TON of great looking shows this year, including the Halstead Challenge Memento exhibition, Curiosity and Reason: Selected Works by Christopher Hentz and Barbara Minor, and Assembling Thomas Mann, among others. The Gallery Crawl will take place Thursday, May 26, 6-10pm. For full details, see here

Also consider supporting the Tool in the Hat Program. If you have anything you no longer use (tools, materials, books, etc) or would like to pass on to another metalsmith,  consider bringing it along to donate to Tool in the Hat. To donate an item, simply sign it up during conference registration or email Dianne deBeixedon at at any time. Then drop your item off at the conference desk. It’s that easy!

If you just can't get enough of inspiring and amazing jewelry and metalwork, make sure you check out the Adorned Spaces. Adorned Spaces is a 2 day pop up gallery event, showcasing 20 different shows from galleries, artists and university programs. Open May 25-26, 10am-6pm, closing reception May 26, 5-8pm

Of course, the meat of any conference is the speakers, and this year sports an amazing line up. For information on the full roster, check here.
