What is it all about: A Smaller Conference Experience (2 parts)

A Smaller Conference Experience Part 1: “Meet and Greet”

Are you a conference newcomer? Nervous because you don’t know anyone yet? Are you a conference regular interested to connect with the newcomers?  Come by the popular “speed friending event” where you will have a chance to meet in a fun, and very relaxed environment. Everyone gets to talk with everyone effortlessly, we’ll guarantee it:

Thursday, May 26, 5 - 6pm  (right before the Pin Swap)

LOCATION: Cascade Ballroom (Mezzanine Level, Westin Hotel)

This is the perfect opportunity to get to know your fellow attendees right at the beginning of the conference and practice your networking skills at the same time.

The SNAG conference attracts many newcomers every year, and we want to welcome you into our fold. Feel free to practice your “20 second elevator commercial”,  make new friends to go to events with! Everyone was new at some point...

Brigitte Martin and Harriete Estel Berman will host the “speed friending” experience with crazy questions and lots of laughs. We look forward to meeting you!

A Smaller Conference Experience Part 2:
“Brown Bag Lunch Discussion”

Glenn Adamson, Conference Keynote Speaker and Lola Brooks, a conference presenter will be our guests during the informal “Brown Bag Lunch Discussion”:

Friday, May 27,  12pm - 1pm

Bring your lunch and join us for a fascinating exchange with Lola and Glenn in a relaxed  environment. Ask your questions, voice your concerns and dive deeper into the issues of making that affect us all. This is your chance to make connections that last the entire conference-- and beyond.

Brigitte Martin and Harriete Estel Berman will host the lunch discussion.  We welcome everyone to join us.

If you have any questions about “speed friending” or the lunch discussion, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with either Harriete (bermaid@harriete-estel-berman.info) or Brigitte (crafthauseditor@live.com) directly. We will be happy to assist you.

We heartily recommend participating in both these events for everyone attending the conference. The Meet n' Greet last year was a BLAST! The connections we made have evolved throughout the year in ways we could never have imagined. Its SNAG at its best.
