Studio Sanctuaries - Part 2

Few things are more important to an artist than their workspaces. Part sanctuary, part workshop, part hang-out: This exhibit honors our studio spaces where we spend most of our time.

Yup, I agree, they are pretty awesome. We'll see what we'll do, will have to look into a big project like this together with Pat and see what we both like.

Just a thought--I've self-published books by using an online service called blurb.com. It's easy & fun.

A book is always a good idea :-) We could certainly do something as a cooperative project, Pat. What we must have though are high quality images, 300 dpi and up, the photos we put online are not fit for print purposes.

Linda, unless I get a lot more entries for Part 3 that will be it. So send em on in to pat@trailmixstudio.com.

I agree, it would be fun to do a book. Not that big of a deal these days. How about it Brigitte?

OK, and after Part Three and Part ad infinitum, what about the possibility of a hard copy catalogue of all the images and commentary. I'm such a real book person... I want to hold these images in my hands and turn each page to reveal the lovely surprise of each sanctuary. How about it? A book? Yum!

This is a great idea and wonderfully done. Great fun to see all the different spaces and all the tools of the trade from the other worlds.

What Have I Been Up To?

I've sidelined a number of works-in-progress in order to get on with more pressing issues, so there are no updates on my Chanel-inspired piece or my tribute to Alexander McQueen, though I have progressed apace with my first foray into electronics in jewellery, "14th Century Nightlife" which I hope to finish finally this coming week after it sitting on my bench for…See More
