Kelly, this publisher does not give out free copies to contributors. I asked for it but they said no. However, if you buy the book via amazon.com you get it at a considerable discount from the regular retail price :-)

In the unlikely case that the IRS would frown upon such a deduction, you could still beat your accountant over the head with this book. Like my mom used to say when I got smacked: 'You know what you did.'

I may have missed the answer to this question...Do contributing artists who were accepted into the book receive a complimentary copy? No problem if not, I just wanted to check. Thanks :)

Heavy as a brick!?...maybe I can use it to beat a sense of humor into my accountant. That would make the purchase tax deductible, right?

It is official: I received my author's copy of Humor in Craft in the mail today. Yay. It is a chunk of a hardcover book, 9x12 inches and about as heavy as a brick.

Pre-order it in your favorite bookstore or get it via Amazon, should be on your doorstep the end of April. :-)

Thank you all for your efforts to spread the word!! I am trying to get this into the press from my end too :-) More to follow on that as things move along... It would be good to see this in many bookstores for sure.

Every craft center should order a copy of this book.  I will suggest it to my supplier.......
