Following the success and interest in New Necklaces: 400 Designs in Contemporary Jewellery, New Earrings: 500+ Designs from Around the World and New Rings: 500+ Designs from Around the World, and its recent revisited edition, I would like to invite you to submit work for selection to be included in the fourth book of the collection titled New Brooches: 500+ Designs in Contemporary Jewellery.
In this new book, we attempt to gather a relevant, inspirational and contemporary sample of brooches from all around the world. The selected pieces will be featured with the profile of the artist and technical details of the work. The publisher will be Promopress.
Every nomination is based entirely on the merit of the work submitted for selection. In case your work is selected for publication it will entail no fees on your part and you will receive a free copy of the book New Brooches: 500+ Designs in contemporary jewellery; however, shipping expenses from Barcelona to your destination are not included.
Keep in mind that the quality of the images you are submitting will play a definite role in the nominations; therefore, send only best quality, both professional and artistic photographs of your most recent work. Images should be in TIF format; in CMYK color model and the resolution should be at least 300 dpi. Each picture should have a maximum size of 297 x 210 millimeters (A4) or a minimum size of 180 x 240 millimeters.
Visuals and information should be submitted by April 30th, 2017 (UTC/GMT+1 23:59:59 – time in Spain) to Nicolas Estrada at newbrooches@gmail.com via wetransfer ( https://www.wetransfer.com/), or dropbox ( https://www.dropbox.com/) only. Please send just one link containing all the information requested; and only one text file (in text format, not pdf) with just the required information and maximum 10 images that meet the requested criteria.
