"THE EMOTIONS" Japanese Lacquer applied to contemporary jewelry

The first exhibition in Argentina with Japanese Lacquer applied to contemporary jewelry will be held at the Museo de la Mujer  from May 31st until June 28th, 2013.

This exhibition will show the work of Francine Schloeth´s -Swiss artist-  workshop and of about 30 students coming from different professions, predominantly jewelry and restoration.

"THE EMOTIONS" (love, joy and pleasure, fear, anger and sadness) is the main theme chosen for the selection of the wonderful pieces that will be exhibited on this occasion.

This ancient and marvelous technique requires a lot of time, dedication and patience, due to the particular characteristics of temperature and humidity that are necessary for the drying and because the unique and deep brilliance that is obtained through the application of many layers.
