I am a .... Example: Student, Maker, Educator, etc.: Since 1985, when I received my Masters of Fine Art at the University of California at Davis, I have been working as a professional artist in ceramic sculpture. My main interest has been in large figurative ceramic sculpture. In undergraduate and graduate school I was fortunate to have studied with the artist that put figurative ceramic sculpture on the map, Robert Arneson. Since then I have been showing in galleries and museums around the world and have been commissioned to do several public and private sculptures in bronze, fiberglass and ceramic.
