Thank you for the comments on the article. I don't have any exhibitions on heirlooms planned for the immediate, but I am working on some ideas. I did a lace-related exhibition in 2007 (including jewelry) and when I started developing that way back in 2003, it really started pushing the heirlooms idea for me--I may give a talk on the topic soon. I will let you know if anything develops either way!! Glad to know you---

    Hi Lynette!
Thanks for introducing me to Jessica and Jill! It was cool to be able to talk with them as opposed to the usual aloof curators! The catalog is wicked and I am so happy with the spread that both of our work landed on! I wanted to talk with you sometime about the work you saw at tyler and the wexler in relation to the educ. forum. I'll send you a note soon as it is still formulating in my head!
    Cheers MDB

Hoooooooray! Look at that fine piece of yours up on the Main page! I showed your work to my advanced students this semester and used you as an example of an artist that has really combined theory and practice into a well developed style and applied it (in formula) to complex work. I am emphasizing advanced fabrication and the development of 'style recipes' that allow them to not have to start from scratch each time they approach a piece. They loved your work and were amazed at how complex it was after they broke down all the steps you take and what order you must complete them! Thanks for sharing so much of your practice with the community!
