What media do you work with?
My work draws on the rich history of the field of Metals/Jewelry. My work confronts the concepts of power, beauty, and cultural value, while bringing insight to the discourse between material culture and contemporary society. My current research is focused on the non-neutrality of materials, issues of adornment and the body. The materials I use in my work depends on the concepts that I am exploring. I tend to gravitate towards working in silver and with fabric, however, I love to explore and have worked in wood, plastics, other ferrous and non-ferrous metals, and many other materials.
