hey anne! woot! featured artists are the awesomest. the news with me is that i will be doing a work study at arrowmont for the month of july and then moving to baton rouge, louisiana to do a post baccalaureate year at LSU.

ill never get tired of you sense of humor. how have you been?

those pigs are kinda new work/ old work. i made them in the fall of 08. we are doing well. Seana is making working at LSU and i am tagging along on the studio space. i havent made much, a few drawing and started working in clay again.
yea seana gets to deal with Mr. Aaron Ekhart about everyday that she works. she works in a coffee shop and he seems to be a jerk. i got to see once.
it would be great if we could see each other during the holidays, we plan on coming back for both but Christmas would be better since we will be home for a longer period of time. but i mean it! none of that "sure it would be great if we met" and then we never do.
i hope everything is well. oh you plan on going to SNAG this year? i am 90% sure that i am going.

Yevgeniya Kaganovich was lecturing in Metal when you were walking through the Link. When were you going to tell me you were in Champaign? Amy B. was in town today for the crits in the Link.

You'll be fine. I'm on vacation back home till the weekend of the 20th. But when I get back we should hang out!

Hi, Anne!  So nice to see you here!  Your new work is amazing (of course, most of it is new to me -- I haven't seen much since the coke can teapot!) -- I love the shift from text-based forms to the more abstract.  Both are beautiful and eloquent!

Not working on a whole lot lately, but I've started a series of fiber/found object pieces, "stuffed animals," if you will.  I'm trying to hybridize human and animal forms, objects and adornment, in such a way that the latter two become part of the body of the former.  Looking forward to summer and some free time to get in the studio and get these going!  Thanks for asking!

I'm a new member of crafthaus and just feeling my way around.  I hope you remember me from Lillstreet! I was thrilled to see you as a member too and equally thrilled to see some of your wonderful new work.
