4th in a series of 4 enamel necklaces. these enamels were done with a combination of techniques. they have fine silver shapes in them and then i built up layers of colors by wet packing and then kiln firing. i kept sanding the colors back and adding more layers and patterns of color until i was happy with the forms and the surface was level with the silver. i was trying to achieve a very painterly effect. the silver work was done in my idea of an abstract/constructivist style. i deliberately melted wires and used them, made things a bit "raw".
