people want to leave something behind - be it a tree or a child or a beautiful corpse [ who doesn't? :) ]. I don't give it too much thought, it's not one of my concerns. but accidentally I came across some pictures of the Pompeii and its marks in history. not a very pleasant way to go, under ashes and hot lava, but it's as | good | as any other. and then it hit me : what would I want to leave behind, if life as we know it would freeze me/all of us in an instant? this collection is my answer. this is | what's left behind | me.
it's copper, oxidized successively [black / blue], in order to look old. it's radiant orchid [colour of year 2014] and it's lime green and nylon. it's asymmetrical and it's me.
