Thanks for saying Dauvit. Recent past, as well, the circular structure is a grill from a Sun Microsystems "mirco" computer of the early '90s. They used to have a little place on the M90 near the pyramids I think. I was struck by the fact that the engineering of this muckle box was probably obsolete by the time it got to the customer. I like the way the slightly oblique sections of the machine screws produced, for me at least, a unique image - cross between a fossil and comedy bomb.

What an incredible object. I am reminded of fossils, a kind of record of the industrial past.
