PARTICIPATORY SPORT FOR CRAFT ARTISTS
This is the piece I am entering into the Conference Scholarship contest. It is a completely hand fabricated sculptural pendant. It sits high on the neck on a 14" black leather strap with a unique, front mounted hook/link clasp system that rotates on both sides to accommodate different wearers. The lighted chamber slides on a custom track and locks completely inside the main housing which is light proof.
The body is Brass with a formed Titanium shell that has a heat patina. The Titanium dome is removable and houses the two lithium power cells.
Measures : 5 1/2" closed 7 1/2" extended
3" wide at the top 1 1/2" wide at the bottom
