thanks for adding me as a friend. love this body of work. i'm wondering if you could help me with something. i do a double pin stem back also, but i put a bend about 1/4" from the tubing on both stems such that each leg of the stem is now angled away from the receiver portion. then when one attempts to put the stems in the receiver there is plenty of tension. i traded with an artist that made one very similar to the one above and i can't wear it because it won't stay in the receiver part properly. i'm assuming when you unclasp (is that the right word??) this the 2 stems pop away from each other, indicating plenty of tension? i like the way this looks better than mine, but i haven't been able to figure out a different way of keeping it tensioned enough. thanks for any help you can give me on this. peace, anne
