A hybrid object that references historical Elizabethan Ruffs and the contemporary Elizabethan Collar: a veterinary device. This object acts to sophisticate the more common name of an Elizabethan Collar: Cone of Shame, into an object that conveys status and absurdity. This plays on the artist’s interests in the role dogs in contemporary society.
