PARTICIPATORY SPORT FOR CRAFT ARTISTS
blown, engraved glass | 19" x 11" x 5"
Eóin Breadon received his MFA in glass from Tyler School of Art at Temple University in 2004, and he has since worked and trained in glass studios in Ireland, Australia, and the United States. Breadon’s work mimics the tradition of seanchaí, which is the practice of Irish storytellers who are responsible for the transmission of Celtic culture, history and laws through the recitation of long lyrical poems. Breadon’s work is shown and collected internationally by galleries and museums. For the past five years he served as a member of the sculpture and glass faculty at the Cleveland Institute of Art but now resides and works in Southern California. Breadon just participated in the gallery’s teapots! exhibit and expertease will be his first sculptural group show in the gallery. Breadon taught at the Pittsburgh Glass Center in July.

For the next 13 months we'll discuss the trials, triumphs, and tribulations of exhibiting in art shows as emerging artists and established artists. Exhibition coverage will be balanced with tips on how to strategically build a legacy over a length of time, in a way that makes sense to your individual goals as an artist and maker.
Join us each month! There will be surprises around every corner, with photos, videos, SNAG conference coverage, and occasional interviews by rising artists!
Please support this effort:
A group of 10 young US jewelry artists will attend Sierrad this Fall showing their work to the European market - and bringing back exciting info for all of us!
Share. Support. Contribute. Thanks!!
