oooo im pretty surprised to know that arranged marriages are still common in these days in the western cultures. I love how you put it across to your audience! the RESTRICTION is there!

Its a comment on arranged marriages in western cultures. The bride is "forced" into it and is expected to be happy on the wedding day, and the happiness is expected to grow upon her afterward. This piece restricts the warer making it hard to speak as well. So it basically creates the "perfect wife," quiet and happy.
