Second in a series celebrating the miniature screen techniques so popular in Japanese history. 32"h x 33"w Light background is Birdseye Maple, darker foreground is Myrtle Burl. The suggestion sketches of birds are surface mounted and carved from multiple layers of Ebonized veneers. Pyrography rounds out the techniques included.
