The small round elements in this piece are interchangeable-- all fitting into the larger round piece. This can be worn as a necklace, with or without the smaller round pieces, or with only the small pieces. The large circle can also be worn as a brooch or the piece can be split into a necklace/brooch combination to be worn together.
I threw this piece together in one day for a show the following day. I finished it at 2 pm and had to give a slide presentation at 4pm. At that point I had neither showered, nor even put together my slides... not to mention that the gallery was 20 minutes away. Somehow it all worked out.
