Pre-Hispanic Earrings 02

This series of replica earrings was done as part of a museum exhibition on pre-Hispanic Columbian Gold. They were created using the same techniques as the originals. The only deviation are the earwires, added to accommodate modern ear piercings. As part of the exercise, we also fabricated all the tools to make these.
Constructed of a special brass alloy that mimics the color of gold and will not tarnish.
Formed, stamped, chased repoused and chisel cut 1.25in wide
