Reuse, Renew, Recycle, Assiyah, Yetzirah, Beriyah TuBishvat Seder Plate by Harriete Estel Berman

I think the Plexiglass takes away a little from the image, but the purpose of the Plexiglas is to allow placement of the dried fruit on the Seder plate ( without touching the tin.) Some museums will not purchase Judaica if it can not be used.

Bridgitte,

Thanks for the idea for contacting National Museum of Education.  Also, super thanks for including me as a featured artist this week. What an unexpected thrill!.

It has been my experience that political social comments in craft are a "hard sell". Craft for so many people is just skill.  The other issue is that some places can't hang this from the ceiling.

I have no idea really why the Museum of Art and Design said "no" (very politely, of course.)

Oh, I am surprised..........I thought for sure one of the two would be interested......Sorry to hear that...

I already tried them. They said 'no'.

I am looking for exhibition spaces for the "pencil sculpture" Pick Up Your Pencils, Begin. Any ideas.

This is always a challenge.
