Soft Yellow to Aqua Greens with Red Coke-SOLD

Each April Flower Brooch is a one of a kind pin constructed from multiple layers of recycled tin cans. The use of recycled materials becomes metaphorical foundation for the flower motif. Each and every petal is cut by hand, the edges are smooth, then the flower petals are lifted and twisted to make the flower petals more rigid and dimensional in appearance.

I have been working with recycled tin cans for over 22 years. No one works with recycled tin cans the way I do. My work uses a broad range of skills and techniques that I have developed over these many years….each one a new discovery or invention.
