This piece was made as a direct response to the circumstances I was in at the time, unable to solder properly due to a failed gas installation! I had to use a small hydroflame unit and a PUK welder and nothing else.

Pendant and chain featuring a large polymer clay bead by Dee Wilder and a chain made from a variety of links in silver and found steel wire from a coat-hanger. The stones are variously synthetic ruby, garnet, carnelian, orange CZ and smoky quartz. The detachable letter "P" is hand-engraved and carved from silver in reference to Dante's description of the seventh terrace of purgatory.

Haha!

It was very interesting that my style became utterly delicate for this one period, determined only by my resources (or lack, thereof).
