Comment by Melissa Cameron on May 30, 2012 at 1:19pm Thanks Michael! It's one of my faves too, one of the very first and I think one of the best of its kind. I like the ambiguity of the tin also, it looks new once sandblasted, but it's a very old, and I was told rare, tin.
It was great to spend time talking to you at the conference, I hope we get another chance in the future.
This piece is by far my favorite. The fact that it is hand cut is icing on the cake. That deep slate color just resonates so strongly in my brain.

For the next 13 months we'll discuss the trials, triumphs, and tribulations of exhibiting in art shows as emerging artists and established artists. Exhibition coverage will be balanced with tips on how to strategically build a legacy over a length of time, in a way that makes sense to your individual goals as an artist and maker.
Join us each month! There will be surprises around every corner, with photos, videos, SNAG conference coverage, and occasional interviews by rising artists!
