I made this knife at a wonderful workshop hosted by the amazing Audra Draper, Master Smith. The small group of us there each made our own pattern welded knife starting from scratch by making the patterned steel billet before forging the blades out, shaping, and fitting all of the parts together. The class was one of the highlights of the year!
