What's all this about, you ask me ? Well, initiated by 2 contemporary jewelers, Brune Boyer and Benjamin Lignel, the "Dit du Bijou", or what I'll allow myself to freely translate to sort of mean "Talk on jewelry" is a monthly get together, generally at a typical small and charming parisian restaurant to talk about jewelry first then have a bite to eat. Every year France celebrates the Arts by a nation-wide manifestation organized by the various chamber of the arts around the country. Artists are invited to open their studios to the public over a 3 day holiday weekend and various shows and exhibits take place throughout the country to honor the arts. I did book a place at the Art Clay Festival--I even found a place in Nakayama's master class on filigree. The prices were very reasonable. So I guess I will see you there.
